Sherry Rehman Holds Imran Khan To Account For Damaging Policies And 'Misrule' That Created 'Economic Tsunami'

Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman has hit back at former prime minister and PTI Chairperson Imran Khan on Twitter for accusing PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari of bringing Pakistan to its knees economically. In a series of tweets, she said that Imran Khan's policies and ‘misrule’ have created an 'economic tsunami' in the country.

Earlier in a tweet, Imran claimed that the Zardari-Sharif “mafia” had bought the country to its knees politically and economically “simply to save their illegally accumulated wealth amassed over 30 years of plundering Pakistan”.



Responding to Imran’s claims, Sherry Rehman said: "No, it is your rampant borrowing, misrule and neo-fascist agenda of violent divides in society that has created this economic tsunami hitting Pakistan like a cresting wave. Your only job has been to protect your own power, and in that service to unbridled narcissism you have sacrificed Pakistan."
