Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that it was unfortunate that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmad and a 'convicted felon' Nawaz Sharif, spoke at the same conference.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif addressed the closing ceremony of the conference.

The PM said that corruption was the core issue that has hampered Pakistan’s progress., adding that progress in the right direction is slow because of the corrupt system that is in place. He however stated that Pakistan had 'great potential' which would soon be realised.

At the conference, the PM inaugurated four projects for the youth, including Kamyab Jawan Markaz, Kamyab Jawan Green Youth Movement, Kamyab Jawan Innovation League, and Kamyab Jawan Talent Hunt Youth Sports League.

The PM said that these projects are designed to hone the skills of the youth and to provide them with life-changing opportunities. He advised the youth that hard work was the only certain path to success.
