Omar Mansoor, a British-Pakistani designer, was honored with the Best Collection Award for Incorporating Cultural Preservation at the Atlas Bayrami Festival in Margilan. The grand closing ceremony, attended by hundreds, featured esteemed guests including Fergana Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, Head of UNESCO Uzbekistan Sara Noshadi, and State Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov.

Mansoor’s award-winning collection, titled "Meluhas," celebrates the dignity and artistry of rural women entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Named after the ancient Indus Valley civilization, known for its exquisite craftsmanship in seals, pottery, and gold jewelry, the collection reflects the artistic traditions of that era. Designed in earthy tones, it evokes the simplicity and elegance of pottery miniatures from the Middle Bronze Age.

Each piece in the collection is hand-embroidered by rural artisans in collaboration with the Kaarvan Crafts Foundation, drawing inspiration from the intricate ornaments of this ancient civilization. A representative from UNESCO Uzbekistan, who is also an anthropologist, expressed special admiration for the collection's deep connection to the heritage of the Bronze Age.
