Fourth Time Prime Minister? Nawaz Sharif's Nomination Papers Accepted From NA-130

ECP says they have created a portal for submitting documents of candidates, and Nawaz Sharif submitted all required documents

Nomination papers of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif have been accepted for general elections from the National Assembly constituency of 130 in Lahore.

The nomination papers of former president Asif Ali Zardari were also accepted from NA-27 Nawabshah. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's nomination papers from NA-194 Larkana were accepted. 

PPP's Abdul Qadir Patel's nomination papers from NA-243 Karachi were accepted.

Former NA Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq's nomination papers were accepted from NA-121. Former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shahbaz's nomination papers were accepted from NA-118. 

The PML-N has also published its list of 20 female candidates for reserved seats, which listed the name of former federal information minister Mariyam Aurangzeb.

Former federal minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed's nomination papers were accepted from NA-56.

From NA-123 and NA-128, Liaquat Baloch's papers were accepted. Rashid Shafique's papers were accepted from PP-19. 

Meanwhile, PTI claimed to have filed nomination papers for over 2,000 candidates. PTI leader Hamad Azhar said that his nomination papers from NA-129 had been accepted.

Former PPP leader and Punjab governor Sardar Latif Khosa said that his nomination papers were accepted from NA-127.

From the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), leader Aminul Haque's nomination papers were accepted from NA-246. Ahsan Ghori's papers were accepted from NA-90.

Former PML-N leader and federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar filed nomination papers as an independent candidate from NA-53.
