The report stated that tripping affected the system of NTDC and K-Electric due to which 11,356 MW electricity went out of the system.
On January 23, frequency suddenly mounted to 57 Mega Hertz. Rise in frequency resulted into excessive load on system and misbalance of voltage.
As per report, the basic fault was emerged in Guddu transmission lines. NTDC said that soon after this restoration process was initiated from Tarbela, Mangala and warsik. Tripping was observed in Tarbela, Mangala and warsik several times, the report stated.
