The purported audio was apparently sent during PTI's protests against Imran Khan's arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case on May 9.
"Corps Commanders have put their foot down, and Asim Munir sahib is in Oman at the moment and he has been stopped there," he said in an apparent reference to Gen Asim's recent visit to the Gulf country.
Sabzwari went on to add that he thought that "he [Gen Asim] will be court martialed," and told unknown recipients that he "expects the details to be revealed soon".
Contrary to the aspirations of many PTI supporters, the protests didn't turn out well for the party, as they involved attacks on government and army installations.
Following the violent riots, a large number of PTI leaders have been leaving the Imran Khan-led party in protest against the vandalism.
Earlier today, senior politician Imran Ismail announced to part ways with Imran and PTI, as he termed the media talk his "last political press conference".
"Whoever was involved in the May 9 riots, we as a nation are unanimous that there should be an inquiry and an exemplary punishment whether or not they represented PTI," he said.
On Wednesday, Fawad Chaudhry announced to part ways with Imran Khan, and said he had resigned from the party position.

Hours after Fawad’s tweet, senior leader Asad Umar announced to resign as PTI’s secretary general.
“I have only resigned from the party position and the core committee,” Umar said while addressing a presser following his release from Adiala Jail.
Last week, senior leader Shireen Mazari announced to quit the party and “active politics”, a day after she was taken into custody from outside Adiala Jail after she was released on court orders in another case.
