PDMA Predicts Heavy Rainfall In Punjab

A weather alert for heavy rainfall in several Punjabi districts, including Lahore, has been issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). 

Rain is expected in Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, and Narowal, with isolated reports of hail, severe winds, and thundershowers. 

Additionally, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Sahiwal, Bhakkar, Leh, and Dera Ghazi Khan are among the regions where PDMA predicts there may be rainfall. 

According to a PDMA spokesperson, the organization's director general has directed deputy commissioners around the province to maintain vigilance and instructed departments concerned to be ready to handle any emergency scenarios.
