In a recent vlog on his YouTube channel, he said that Imran Khan, during his tenure as prime minister, put opposition leaders behind bars with the intention to eliminate his opposition. Allegations of giving poison to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, denying medical access to former president Asif Ali Zardari during captivity, and halting the supply of medicines to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) senior leader Rana Sanaullah are a few incidents that prove Imran Khan’s plan, the journalist said.
He said that Imran Khan’s politics revolve around two designations: army chief and chief justice, and he came into power due to support from the two. Now support from one end is no more, and he wanted elections before the retirement of the chief justice, he added.
He said that the confessional video of PTI Punjab President Pervez Elahi’s close aide Muhammad Khan Bhatti proves that judges are being managed to get favorable judgments.
The journalist said that Imran Khan knows very well that when Justice Qazi Faiz Esa becomes the chief justice, he will not tolerate attacks on the police and judicial complex.
He further claimed that when the opposition submitted a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan, he contacted then-army chief General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa and offered him the post for life and in return demanded support to avert the no-confidence motion. Gen (r) Bajwa met Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman to convince them, but Bilawal took a firm stand and warned against revealing all the developments on the floor of the assembly, he claimed.
