Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is launching a countrywide "protest movement" from tomorrow (Friday) against "inflation and sinking" economy, party's leader Fawad Chaudhry announced on Thursday.
Speaking to media persons in Lahore, he further said that party's chairman Imran Khan will be joining his supporters after three weeks.
“A protest will be launched from tomorrow against inflation and the sinking economy," Fawad said, and added that the "movement will continue until the incumbent government is sent packing.”
He further revealed that the decision was made by the party's chief during a meeting with senior leaders today.
The protests, to be led by PTI MNAs in their respective constituencies, will follow Imran Khan's "next plan of action," Fawad maintained.
He also said the PTI will launch a significant protest in support of the detained leader Senator Azam Swati.
