Community education in action was depicted this weekend in Lahore with Uraan Chapter 12 by Kaarvan Crafts Foundation at Emporium Mall. This consisted of a crafts exhibition consisting of handmade items by Pakistani Women Entrepreneurs who are part of Kaarvan and UN Women Pakistan’s Women Economic Empowerment Program (WEE) supported by The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad. Educate in life skills is part of Kaarvan’s integrated holistic developmental approach that caters to both human dignity and individual integrity. With Kaarvan's hybrid winter internship with LSU it was a means of reclaiming our imaginations. The purpose was to not to be constrained by patriarchal worldview but to look beyond the allotted structures.
