Dar on Experiments
Daily Dunya (20 January 2020) quoted the PML-N’s Ishaq Dar as asking what problems the previous administration had bequeathed to the new government, such that the growth rate of the economy went from 5.8 to 3.3 percent. He went on to urge the government to have some fear of God and stop its experiments.

Daily Express (20 January 2020) reported that a Gujranwala wedding saw guests surprised as US dollars were made to rain down upon them. A relative of the bridegroom reached into a bag and began throwing dollars into the air, which guests – both adults and children alike – scrambled to grab. Dollars and Pakistani rupees were also showered when the groom’s wedding procession arrived at the venue.
Blame game

Daily Jang (22 January 2020) reported on the case of a single SHO of the police being posted on the same day to two different police-stations at one time. Eventually, one of the two orders was cancelled, but not before social media users were greatly amused by the mix-up.
