This ladies group was taken at the Pakistan High Commission in Knightsbridge, London in 1959/60 at a function in honour of Begum Ayub Khan, seated at the centre next to the hostess Begum Zubaida Yousuf, wife of Pakistan's High Commissioner to Great Britain Gen M Yousuf.

The ethereally lovely Princess Naseem Aurangzeb can be seen likewise. Towards the right is Mrs Ruhafza Hyder, wife of Deputy High Commissioner Sajjad Hyder. At left is Begum Piyari Rashid, mother of journalist Ahmad Rashid. The tall lady at the back is photographer Tapu Javeri's grandmother. The little girl seated on the floor in the front is me.

– Rehana Hyder
