Unknown Attackers Booked For Murder Attempt On PML-N MPA In Lahore
A case has been registered against unknown individuals following an attack on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Bilal Yaseen by armed men.

The FIR was registered at the Data Darbar police station, with the PML-N leader saying that two men on a motorcycle tried to murder him outside the residence of a PML-N worker near Data Darbar.

According to the FIR, Yaseen received bullet injuries on his leg and abdomen and he was being treated at Mayo Hospital.

Police sources say that contract killers were behind the incident. Further, they stated that the causes of the attack were being investigated and they were making efforts to arrest the accused.

On Friday, Yaseen was shot and wounded by unknown attackers in Lahore. Police authorities say that the men on two motorcycles had opened fire on the PML-N MPA when he came to a party worker's house in the Data Darbar area.

The police had stated that Yaseen had received two bullet injuries in his leg and stomach, and was currently under treatment at Mayo Hospital.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident, ordering the police officials to submit a report into the attack.
