Two terrorists carried out an attack in front of the General Directorate of Security in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, with one of them blowing himself up, the interior minister confirmed on Sunday.
The interior ministry also said that the terrorist attack left at least two police officers with minor injuries.
The terrorist attack comes after Turkish media reported a loud explosion in the heart of Ankara in an area near the Parliament and Ministry of Interior Affairs.
After a summer break, the Turkish Parliament was set to reconvene on Sunday.
