If PMLN, PPP Dynasties, PTI A Monarchy: Miftah Ismail
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former finance minister Miftah Ismail has said that if PMLN and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are following the rule of the dynasty, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not much different as it follows monarchy.

While engaged in a healthy debate on Twitter, the former minister argued that PTI is a pure monarchy as it is being ruled by the same leader for the last 26 years.

He further said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan always makes reference to western democracy while addressing the nation. "Which western democracy has had the same leader for 26 years?" he questioned.

The former minister mentioned that PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are the most popular leaders in their parties, just like Imran Khan. "How can PTI claim to be democratic and still be ruled dictatorially by one man for 26 years?" he questioned.

Ismail said that his many friends, who are associated with PTI, often argue that other political parties are dynasties. "If other parties are dynasties, then PTI is a monarchy," he added.

He further stated that the only non-dynastic party in the country is Jamaat-e-Islami (JI).
