On the day of Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan's birthday, the trailer for the film Dunki featuring him was unveiled.
The teaser for King Khan's third film of 2023 has finally surfaced, following the success of his previous blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, as he celebrates another year around the sun.
The much-awaited video, which features Shahrukh in his debut collaboration with popular filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, opens with a group of individuals in black trying to traverse a desert as a gunman is aiming a weapon at them.
The action then shifts to a flashback, showcasing Shahrukh, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and two more pals from Punjab who want to one day leave their homeland and find employment in London.
In a voiceover, the 58-year-old actor who will portray Hardy declares that he will use any means necessary to get his buddies to London.
Shahrukh described Dunki as a comedy last year in an interview with Deadline, saying, "Rajkumar Hirani films are always a mix of comedy and a lot of emotions about the country." "The film goes through different areas around the world and finally comes back home to India.”
