Mission impossible in Rahim Yar Khan
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from the runway of the Rahim Yar Khan airport and seized a bag containing knives, scissors, lighters, a calculator, a pack of candles, a key, a burner, maps of Pakistan and the world, two handkerchiefs, a pair of gloves, and one pair of clothes, Express reports (August 24, 2015). He had failed his Class-9 exam and decided to run away to America after being scolded by his parents, the boy and his family told the police.

Prime minister takes a stroll in Kazakhstan
Saleh Zafir reports in Jang (August 26, 2015) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gave a pleasant surprise (khushgawar hairat) to the people of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, when they saw him taking a stroll (sarrak peh chehel qadmi) without security protocol. He walked four kilometers in 40 minutes, and was accompanied by his aides. Enjoying the cool wind, he said he hoped there will be similar peace and progress in Pakistan.
