"The Chief Justice seems to think of himself as a messiah with a mission," the analyst told Khabar Say Aagay host Raza Rumi.
"The fact is that no one, including the CJP and his fellow judges, are above the institution; judiciary," he added.
He further said that the political parties are involved in an intense wrangling and no one is thinking about the financial commitments Pakistan has to fulfil in the days ahead, and the current financial situation.
"The politics of the country have become venomous and the society is suffering as a result of the trickle down."
Analyst Murtaza Solangi said that the decision, regardless of its outcome, will remain controversial. "It will only give a rise to the existing crisis, rather than defusing it."
On the possibility of talks between the political parties, President PILDAT Ahmed Bilal Mehboob lamented that there has been no serious effort towards this.
"The effort has been focused on overpowering and vanquishing the other side, it has been limited to optics," he said.
Speaking on the occasion, journalist Hassan Ayub highlighted that a judicial order is binding upon all, even the CJP, and it cannot be overruled.
Ayub said that the efforts, that the CJP initiated to mend ties with his fellow judges, will have to be taken forth and intensified.
