Hira Mani is a Pakistani actress and model. Recently, she has been caught up with the promotion and premieres of her new film Teri Meri Kahaniyaan made in collaboration with her husband, Mani.
Their feature film which is said to be a horror comedy and is directed by Nabeel Qureshi.
On one of the premieres Hira wore a sparkly black sari with feathers.
This has brought on an onslaught of criticism from her fans and the general public with some commenting that "don’t follow these actors as they are constantly causing harm to the values of the society."

With acid being thrown across faces of women who are fully clothed and covered, children being raped for simpy existing and religious minorities denied the right to practice their faith, it is female actresses who are harming Pakistani societal values?
It is about time Pakistanis looked inwards and questioned exactly what they are so insecure about that a woman who decides to wear whatever she wants affects them so badly.
