Ajay Devgn is reuniting with filmmaker Luv Ranjan and producer Bhushan Kumar for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit movie De De Pyaar De, titled "De De Pyaar De 2." Adding to the excitement, the film's shooting has formally commenced with a muhurat puja ceremony attended by Anil Kapoor, raising fan expectations.
On Monday (June 3), filming began in Mumbai with a traditional muhurat puja ritual, which was attended by Anil Kapoor himself. The actor not only graced the event with his presence but also began filming with the first clap, sending his best wishes to the whole cast.
Rakul Preet Singh had previously eagerly uploaded a photo on Instagram stories of herself carrying what looked to be her script, with the message, "BACK ON MY FAVORITE SET!! DDPD2 BEGINS."
De De Pyaar De 2 is directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, as well as Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg of Luv Films. The much-awaited movie is set to hit cinemas on May 1st, 2025.
