Police Close To Capturing All Perpetrators Of Peshawar Imambargah Attack: Sheikh Rashid
All three suspects involved in the attack on the imambagah in Peshawar have been identified, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police and the investigation agencies claiming that they are close to apprehending the perpetrators.

Sheikh Rashid commended the great work of police and investigation agencies, who said they hoped to capture the suspects within a few days.

In a video posted on his Twitter account, the interior minister discussed the 'deadly incident yesterday that took 57 lives in a mosque in Peshawar', but did not mention that the worshippers were Shia.

The minister then lashed out at the opposition, warning that “floods, earthquakes or pandemics do not destroy the country but rumours and anarchy harms a state.”

The suicide bomber, wearing a black shalwar kameez, can be seen approaching the mosque before shooting at the police guards outside, one of whom he killed.  He can be seen entering the mosque.  Then, a blast - the suicide bomber detonated the explosives attached to his body in the third row of worshippers.

As of Saturday afternoon, 63 people have died, including seven children, from the attack which occurred during Friday prayers. It was the deadliest attack in Peshawar in years.
