Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) Judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa has voluntarily declared all of his personal assets, including his judicial privileges, as well as those of his family.
The Supreme Court's official website has information about Justice Faez Isa's personal assets, which shows that he received salaries totaling Rs54.34 million for the fiscal years 2018, 2019, and 2020 and paid taxes of Rs6.7 million.
He declared his income as Rs 15.11 million, Rs 17.145 million, and Rs 21.237 million in 2018, 2019, and 2020, respectively. For the same years, he paid taxes of Rs 2.2 million, Rs 1.8 million, and Rs 2.3 million.
The senior judge stated that he is the owner of an 800-square-yard residential site in Phase 2 of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi, where he had a home constructed.
In addition, he purchased a 200-yard commercial plot in DHA Phase 5 and an additional 800-square-yard open residential plot, while he was an attorney.
Justice Isa also owns a one-kanal old property in Lahore's DHA and inherited a half-share in a plot located in Balochistan. He revealed that he owns a total of Rs. 41,330,856 in bank accounts and Rs. 4,114,137 in foreign currency accounts.
He also has three automobiles: a mini jeep, a Honda Accord, and a Honda Civic.
The judge disclosed his official perks, including two government-provided employees, two Honda Civics of the 2017 and 2015 model years, and an official apartment in Islamabad.
Also, he was permitted to receive free medical care at certain facilities and use up to 600 liters of petrol per month. The judge stressed that although he was offered a plot, he declined it as a judge on the Supreme Court or the chief justice of the Balochistan High Court.
In 2019, the Interior Ministry offered him prohibited bore guns, but he declined them.
In his remark, Justice Isa also made it clear that his wife is independent of him and submits her own income tax returns to Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
