Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Uzma Kardar has said that party chairman Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi is the most important person in the party and is behind all the important decision making.
Uzma made these claims during an appearance on a Naya Daur TV's show 'Insight with Tanzila Mazhar' on October 4. Responding to a question about who amongst the PTI was most important to Imran Khan in terms of decision making, she said that she was surprised that the most important person hadn't been brought up yet.

"Don't you know who is the most important in PTI right now? You haven't even named them," she said, continuing, "Let me tell you: the most important personality in PTI right now is Bushra Bibi." She went on to add that all the rhetoric that the PTI was using, from blaming the 'hackers' on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, to accusing people of treason if they bring up corruption charges, was all coming from Bushra Bibi.
Uzma also said that Imran Khan has gone on the record during an interview with German channel DW and said that he discusses all matters of politics and state with his wife, who the interviewer described as a 'faith-healer'. During the interview she says Imran Khan said that he consults his wife on everything, and especially if there is a more complicated issue.
"We were told the first few years that Bushra Bibi is a homebody and doesn't leave her room ever, and is always busy praying," she said, adding, "This is the lesson we were taught to repeat on channels like parrots, but then a few years later Khan Sahab himself said that Bushra Bibi gives her insight and opinion on all political aspects, and we were stunned."
