Social media users are full of outrage over a clip of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry making a racist joke about Pashtuns during a television interview.
Fawad made the untoward remark during an appearance on journalist Kashif Abbasi's TV show on ARY News, in reference to the recent reports about Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Bashir Memon being locked up in the bathroom of the prime minister house after a heated exchange with the then-prime minister Imran Khan.
In the clip, Chaudhry, responding to a question about why Bashir Memon was led to the bathroom of the PM, says, "He took quite a risk, going into a bathroom with a Pathan."
