Saima Saeed, the provincial secretary for special education in Punjab, and a representative of UNICEF presented Nauman Bashir and his teacher Asma Batul with honorary certificates and medals after learning that Nauman Bashir had earned 758 marks out of 1100 in the annual matriculation exam, earning him the top spot in the province.
While talking to journalists, Nauman Bashir said that he makes shoes with his father after school to help pay for his education.
Nauman Bashir wants to study computer science and hopes that obtaining a better education will help him make his country and his nation renowned.
