“Come clean”

The world waits to see how privilege will shield Prince Andrew, second son of Queen Elizabeth, from getting his just desserts in the Epstein-Maxwell case of sex trafficking of minors. Thus far, the Prince has said that he is “co-operating with the FBI” but the Bureau has not yet summoned him to bear witness. Is it a matter of time before it does? The FBI has been passed information from a witness claiming to have seen Prince Andrew in a London nightclub with Virginia Giuffre who alleges that when a minor, she was abused by Epstein and the Prince. The latter has denied that he ever knew Giuffre, in a now infamous television interview.

The US lawyer Lisa Bloom, who is representing the victims of the royal’s former friend and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Esptein, said the witness recalled seeing Prince Andrew at Tramp nightclub in Mayfair, London, and had come forward to support Virginia Giuffre’s version of events.

In a message to Prince Andrew, Bloom said: “It’s not too late to turn away from your former friends Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and to help the victims get justice. Come clean.”

Method in the madness

We all know that The Great Khan supports his rep who sits on Takht Lahore, to the extent of spurning The Boyz’ repeated advice to find a replacement. The Khan argues that there is a method to his madness given that Chory Shuj of Guj and his kinsman are waiting in the wings to seize Takht Lahore, and The Land of Five Rivers being a bastion of The Man of Steel, the replacement coup may not be easy. So, The Khan has told The Boyz that he will be ready for a change when both Chory and The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro become NAB’s guests and are removed from the scene. Time will tell how far “they” are prepared to go.

A new low

Our mole reports that money transfers via hundi went up exponentially a few weeks ago, just as the rupee touched new lows. We hear a party in Islamabad was short selling USD at minus Rs 5 in a deal involving a few million greenbacks.
