Justice Ayesha Malik, the first woman to be named a Supreme Court judge in Pakistan, has been ranked amongst the 100 Most Influential Women of 2022.

This, the BBC noted, included a "landmark judgement" proscribing the "so-called two-finger test" of rape victims. The tests would be carried out in connection with cases of sexual assault before being banned in 2021.
