Oldest Hindu Temple Located In Dera Ismail Khan
A Hindu temple dated to the 7th Century AD at Kafirkot in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province is said to be the oldest Hindu temple in South Asia.



Director of KP government's archeology department Abdul Samad, who has a PhD in the origin and emergence of Hinduism in early AD, says the religion originated in what is Pakistan's KP province today.
