Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Reach Amicable Divorce Settlement

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have reached a divorce settlement five months after Lopez filed in August 2024.

The split is said to be amicable, with both agreeing to keep the money they earned separately during their two-year marriage. Neither will pay spousal support.

Despite not having a prenuptial agreement, the divorce was settled in a way that’s similar to how a prenup would work. The deal also includes private details about the $61 million home they bought together, which is now up for sale. Lopez will also remove Affleck’s name from hers. The divorce is expected to be finalized by February 20, 2025.

Affleck and Lopez, known as "Bennifer," were first engaged in 2002 but broke up in 2004. They reunited in April 2021 and married in July 2022. However, Lopez filed for divorce less than two years later, ending their marriage.

The couple’s decision to handle the divorce without public drama shows their mutual respect. Representatives for both stars have not commented on the settlement.
