Booked & cooked?

The Great Khan’s hordes are breathing fire and brimstone at a book that has not yet been published. They have gone so far as to nudge a lower court to issue restraining orders on the author, a former Khanum of The Great Khan, from distributing the book in question. The ex Khanum herself is a bit cagey about the status of the book. She claims to have written it and submitted it for publication. But she gives no date. She shrugs off allegations of pocketing dirty money from The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro to spill the beans on his chief opponent. But the unedited manuscript has got into the hands of The Khan’s hordes because one of two Khanum confidantes became greedy. Turns out she gave one copy to Confidante #1 for vetting and another copy to Confidante #2 for translating into Urdu. One of the gents sold it to the well heeled amongst The Great Khan’s horde for a pretty penny. There are other issues too. The proposed British publisher wants to edit the manuscript professionally and vet it for defamation. This could take months. But ex Khanum is in a bit of a hurry because she means to stick the knife into her ex-spouse and turn it. Apparently the juicy details in the book about The Khan and his gang are pretty solid and titillating. It is another matter, however, whether these will attract the provisions of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution or whether The Great Khan will continue to be a Teflon Man for his supporters.
