According to reports by Samaa TV, the Sindh Education Department has announced its decision to make music a compulsory part of education for kids, saying that schools will now be required to teach their students music.

It has also been reported that the department will be looking to hire around 1,500 new music teachers for this purpose.

The summary for the salaries of the new music teachers has been sent to the National Treasury.
