'One Powerful Man, His Accomplices Above The Law', Imran Khan Tweets
While responding to prime minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement in which he slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan for maligning and threatening the Pakistan Army and the country's premier intelligence agency ISI, Khan has asked a few questions from the premier in a series of tweets.

On his Twitter account, Khan stated that he had survived two assassination attempts in the last few months. "Why, being a citizen of this country, don't I have the right to nominate those I feel were responsible for assassination attacks on me? Why was I denied my legal and constitutional rights?" he questioned.

He further stated that PM Shehbaz’s tweet gave the impression that military officers were above the law, or that they could not commit any crimes. "If we allege one of them has committed a crime, how is the institution being maligned?", he questioned.

The PTI chairman said that his party was in power in Punjab when he was attacked during the Wazirabad rally. "How was the one who was so powerful that he sabotaged the joint investigation team (JIT) formulated to probe the assassination attack on me?" he questioned.

He further asked Shehbaz, "Why did the intelligence agency take over the Islamabad Judicial Complex the evening before my appearance before the court on March 18? What was the purpose of their presence in the complex in CTD and lawyers 'camouflage'?".

Former prime minister Imran Khan also asked when premier Shehbaz Sharif would answer the above-mentioned questions.

He concluded his series of tweets by saying, "It is time for us to officially declare that there is only the law of the jungle in the country where might is right."

It is pertinent to mention here that PM Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was routinely maligning and threatening the Pakistan Army and the ISI for the sake of petty political gains, which is highly condemnable. He added that Khan is leveling allegations against Major General Faisal Naseer and other officers of the ISI without any proof, which will not be tolerated. PM Shehbaz was joined by other PDM leaders, notably former president Asif Ali Zardari, who condemned Khan's baseless accusations against Pakistan's national security institutions and its senior officials.
