Economist Muzammil Aslam on Monday lashed out at ARY News anchorpersons, accusing the channel of supporting the incumbent government's economic policies.
In a video shared on social media platform, Aslam is seen attacking morning show hosts Ashfaq Satti and Madeha Naqvi for 'taking sides' on the current economic situation in the country.
According to the economist, while the two journalists criticised the previous regime for granting a petrol subsidy, they fell short of taking the incumbent government to task for its performance in the areas of petrol and power.
He went on to say that he never witnessed the news channel speaking against the current, PML-N rule.
Despite the hosts calmly attempting to explain their impartial approach, Aslam said, "I am not going to response to the questions that I don't like," adding, "You're not advocating the case of the masses."
