In this episode of the New Wave Global, the host Rabia Mehmood asks political commentator and former Labour councillor Shaista Aziz to explain the election result, expand on the Muslim Vote, the new cabinet and the rise of the far-right. Aziz, also an anti-racism campaigner with the The Three Hijabis, explained that British media and the liberal commentariat have all undermined the significant wins and gains by Muslim candidates including that of Pakistani heritage.
