USEFP-Funded University Partnerships Grants Program Inaugurated At NUML
Funded by United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan, the project, entitled 'Teaching English Language and Literature in Pakistan: Faculty Development and Research in Progress', will focus on the capacity development of 45 teachers at the departments of English in six partner universities in Pakistan.

Dr Ryan Skinnell and Dr Masood Ashraf Raja, professors at the University of North Texas, USA, graced the occasion by attending the event online. The ceremony was also attended by faculty members from University of Swabi; Kohsar University in Murree; Women University in Swabi; FATA University; University of Baltistan; and Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology in Khuzdar.

Mr Phillip Assis, Deputy Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy Pakistan, was the chief guest. The session was headed by DG NUML Brigadier Syed Nadir Ali.

The project is being led and administered by Professor Dr Muhammad Safeer Awan. Pro-Rector Academics, and Dr Inayat Ullah, Chairperson of the Department of English at NUML.
