The nation observed Eidul Fitr by praying for its brothers and sisters in Gaza, who have been subjected to murder and destruction by oppressive Israeli troops for the last six months.
In the six months since the conflict started on October 7, at least 33,360 Palestinian deaths have been officially reported, according to the health ministry in Gaza. Thousands more bodies are possibly still in the rubble.
The top leadership of Pakistan conveyed their support for the war-torn country in their Eid messages, and they urged the international community to guarantee an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and aid the Palestinians.
The holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, came to a conclusion on this day with the Eid prayers. Around the world, believers celebrate the end of the fasting month with a three-day feast.

In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari greeted the Muslim Ummah and the people of Pakistan on this auspicious day and asked them to share their joy with those who are less fortunate.
He stated, "I pray to Allah Almighty to bring immense blessings, happiness, peace, and security to everyone on this blessed day."
"After all the fasting, prayers, and charity in the sacred month of Ramadan, we should be thankful to Allah Almighty for bestowing all the blessings and happiness on us."
“I want to convey to the persecuted Muslims in Gaza and Palestine that the whole Pakistani country stands in sympathy with them,” he stated, speaking for the nation as a whole.
In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his sincere gratitude to citizens and said that the day signified the conclusion of Ramadan, a month filled with great benefits, spiritual development, forgiveness, patience, tolerance, and forbearance.
"The fundamental theme of Eid is unity, kindness, giving, and peace, which motivates us to create a tranquil and thriving community," he added.
PM Shehbaz also urged the country to honor the martyrs who gave their lives in order to ensure that the nation may live in peace and harmony.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that Pakistan's armed forces, Service Chiefs, and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza also sent their warmest regards to all citizens.
