United Arab Emirates Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumaishi has said that if investors from the UAE get a free hand in Pakistan, then everything that is currently in Dubai will be seen here.

Addressing a special ceremony on Pakistan's Independence Day at the UAE Consulate, he said that at present Pakistan is going through a very critical period politically and economically.

"Therefore, it is the need of the hour that the entire nation should unite for the sake of Pakistan to defeat the conspiracies of internal and external enemies and strengthen this country together," he added.

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Bakhit Atiq al-Rumaishi said that by benefiting from the experience of investors from other Arab countries, including the UAE, the business can be done in a better way in Pakistan, which will further improve relations between the two countries.

He said that the aim of the recently established Special Investment Facilitation Council is to speed up the potential investment for Pakistan from the Gulf countries, while the arrival of Emirati investors will also benefit the people of Pakistan.
