Abdul Qadeer Khan Had Written Emotional Letter To CM Murad Few Days Before Death
A few days before his death, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan had written a letter to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, thanking him for sending him a bouquet of flowers. He had further written that Prime Minister Imran Khan and chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Punjab were awaiting the 'good news' of his death.

He said that he was thankful that the CM of his province and of his city remembered him 'in this difficult period'.

The letter has been doing the rounds on social media where users are criticising the federal government for not honouring him.

Dr AQ Khan, Pakistan's nuclear scientist and national icon, breathed his last on Sunday morning.
The deceased was given a state funeral in Islamabad and was later buried at the h-8 graveyard.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and other top government officials were not present on the occasion. Their absence raised eyebrows with many commentators questioning that why the PM did not attend the funeral despite being in the same city.
