Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that important decisions will be made today and tomorrow; let's see which way the wind is blowing.

While talking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Rashid said that the caretaker prime minister’s name had not yet been decided and that the public was waiting for it.

He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) dismissed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker government after it was found to be participating in "politics."

The former minister said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan, face the law, and run the election campaign, but "I don’t think this will happen."

He stated that by taking away the subsidy provided to the poor segment of society at the utility stores, the government battered the underprivileged people. According to him, Pakistan's politics were at their darkest during the 16-month tenure of the previous government.

He bemoaned that the political situation was getting worse and more serious.
