The suicide rate in Pakistan is horrifically high. Between 10 to 20 people end their lives in Pakistan every day. It is as high as one person attempting suicide in an hour across the country. Similarly, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated that in 2012, the rate of suicide in Pakistan was 7.5 percent in 100,000 people. In other words, around 13,000 people end up their lives for unknown reasons that year.
In a similar incident, in 2016 the estimate was 2.9 percent of 100,000 i.e. over 5,500 killed themselves. In addition, the current ratio in Pakistan's suicide rate is 0.9 percent. The people who comment suicide in Pakistan are day by day in the twinkling of an eye, increasing at horrible levels but unluckily, the truth behind these endangered species remains hidden.
Further, in Pakistan, as observed by me that people are losing their lives due to some problems in which they can not survive. In many places across the country the state of education is in a state of neglect and hundreds of thousands of villages exist without basic needs. Consequently, the young generation in particular attempt suicide.
Across Pakistan, there is widespread unemployment. University graduates with good degrees are still jobless due to the damaged economy of Pakistan. Subsequently, this adds to pressure and with no options, people eventually commit suicide.
Financially, Pakistan has struggled in battling corruption causing the country representative to go around begging for loans from other organizations and making Pakistan into the beggar of the world. The financial crisis has had several bad impacts on the public of Pakistan. As inflation is at high levels as far as it is strictly for poor people to live and survive, causing death to be the only way to end misery.
Recently, a teenager commented suicide in the area nearby Dilbandeen because of due to being told off repeatedly by his father, again and again. The youngest child completely lost his patience and shut himself up at gunpoint. As life becomes harder parents end up taking their anger out on children which makes their lives unbearable.
