Indian Filmmaker David Dhawan Undergoes Angioplasty
Senior filmmaker David Dhawan underwent angioplasty and a stent was also inserted, but he is now in much better shape than before. The director is taking very good care of himself, and his wife, Mrs. Lali Dhawan, and sons Varun and Rohit are helping to keep him in such a state.

The senior filmmaker underwent angioplasty and a stent was also inserted a few weeks ago, but this information has now come to light. The operation was carried out at the HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai.

This is the third angioplasty case that has come to light recently, following that of Sunanda Shetty, the mother of Shilpa-Shamita Shetty, and Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen. By chance, Dr. Rajiv Bhagwat, a cardiologist, treated Sushmita and Sunanda Shetty at the same hospital, Nanavati.

Dr. Rajiv Bhagwat, Sushmita Sen's cardiologist, finally speaks: "She is blessed that she came at the right time and right place."

When it comes to David Dhawan, he adheres to all the dos and don'ts meticulously, taking no chances. "Everything is well today, but Mrs. Lali Dhawan, Varun, and Rohit were really concerned when his cardiac trouble first started."

Sushmita Sen, who had a heart attack earlier this month is now on the road to recovery and has resumed her work, too.

In a recent talk with Indian media, her cardiologist revealed how the Bollywood star’s fitness level helped limit the damage of cardiac arrest.

To a question about whether Sushmita’s "high physical activity" played a role in limiting the damage, he said, "Yes."

"Her high physical activity indeed helped in ensuring that the damage was limited." "This is the biggest message that has come out," he added.

Dr. Rajiv went on to add that exercise shouldn’t be done more than three or four times a week, not on a daily basis.
