Atta Tarar's House Raided By Police
The Punjab Police raided Special Assistant to Prime Minister Attaullah Tarar's residence on Saturday, according to Punjab Home Minister Hashim Dogar.

According to the Home Minister, the purpose of the raid was to 'deliver a notice', however, as per the police statement, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and federal minister was not home at the time.

This development comes a day after the Lahore High Court instructed the police to refrain from harassing PML-N leaders Attaullah Tarar, Malik Ahmed Khan, and Rana Mashhood.

Following the raid, Atta Tarar addressed Hashim Dogar in a tweet, saying, "I thought you were a minister, but you turned out to be a very non-serious character," asking him what he wanted to prove by sending the police to the house where he lived 15 years ago.

He further questioned that if this is the state of the home minister, then how can he be expected to manage the Punjab ministry?

Responding to Atta's tweet, Hashim Dogar said on Twitter, "Present yourself Atta Tarar, the law is waiting for you," adding that the police had delivered a notice at his Lahore residence. He further stated that if Atta Tarar understands the power of the law, then he should present himself in Lahore.
