Model Ayyan Ali slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairperson Imran Khan for referencing her money laundering case in a speech, where he had asserted that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chair Asif Ali Zardari had been involved in murder of the customs officer investigating the case.
The model said in a series of tweets, that she had 'fought and won fake cases against her at the age of 20', and cautioned Imran Khan to remain calm. "Lets see if you can endure what I have endured" she said.
She said that Khan has not been able to give up two habits: using her name to earn television ratings, and the second one being lying. "You have been prime minister for four years, and yet your speeches are still not complete without lying about the fake cases against me," she tweeted.

In 2015, the model was arrested on accounts of money laundering large sums of money to Dubai. She was stopped by Customs Officials at Islamabad's Benazir International Airport, who then retrieved $506,000 from her luggage.
She spent four months in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, after which she was released on bail.
