Imran Khan May Dissolve Assemblies On Dec 23
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan may dissolve Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab assemblies on December 23, said analyst Shahbaz Mian on Wednesday.

The analyst further said that President Arif Alvi will take the former premier into confidence on meetings with the members of the government in this regard.

He made these remarks during the program Khabar Say Aagay, aired on Naya Daur TV today (December 14).

Speaking on the occasion, Aijaz Ahmad said Chief Minister Pervez Elahi and PTI leader Asad Qaiser have agreed to not dissolve the assemblies for the next three months.

He added that President Alvi doesn't want the assemblies dissolved and he may discuss the same with chairman PTI.

There's no guarantee that general elections at this point in the country will bring political stability too.

Earlier today, Imran announced to unveil a date for the dissolution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab assemblies on December 17, 2022.

The ex-premier also said that the planned dissolution of assemblies would pave the way for polls.

Last month, the PTI chief announced to disassociate the party from the “corrupt political system” by dissolving the provincial assemblies.

Flagship Naya Daur show Khabar Say Aagay streams Monday to Saturday at 9pm.
