Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari met with Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to discuss the political situation on Sunday.
The two leaders met at former federal minister Faisal Vawda's daughter's wedding, which took place on Sunday at his Karachi residence. The conference is viewed as vital at this time, as the country is going for general elections.
According to insiders, the meeting focused on issues of mutual interest, such as the country's forthcoming general elections.
Meanwhile, while talking to journalists in Khairpur, PPP leader Murad Ali Shah said that his party will win the forthcoming elections, which are scheduled for February 8.
"We will address the problems if we vote into power." The PPP's election campaign is going well,” he added.
