Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan allegedly met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the President House in Islamabad, alongside President Arif Alvi.
Senior PTI leader Ishaq Khakwani appeared on journalist Rauf Klasra's show on Wednesday, where he revealed that Imran Khan had met with army chief General Bajwa in the President's House in Islamabad, three or four days ago.

He then went on to say that out of all the current members of PTI, President Arif Alvi was the most 'well-meaning' and 'trustworthy'. "I have worked with Dr. Alvi quite a lot in the past since 2011 and 2018, we did a lot of things together, because he was my secretary general and had been a supporter of Imran Khan for 14 years," he said.
Khakwani then expressed regret that instead of including Arif Alvi in the cabinet, Imran Khan had given him the office of president. "In my opinion, he would have been very useful if he had been part of the cabinet and had been involved in the running of Imran Khan's government," he said, calling Alvi a 'great asset'.
He then went on to say that there were many reasons for Alvi's appointment as president, including the fact that he had to appoint someone from a different province. "I wish that Dr. Alvi would have prevailed on many issues that Imran Khan's government created because of his ignorant team," he said.
