Saeeda Imtiaz Not Dead. Fake News Was Spread From Her Own 'Hacked' Account

An announcement on her verified Instagram account had revealed earlier on Tuesday that renowned Pakistani actress Saeeda Imtiaz had passed away. However, the story has now been retracted and her manager says that the actor is 'alive and well' at her home in Lahore.


He confirmed that the actress is currently in her home in Lahore and she is doing well, adding that she will soon release a video message on the issue.

The manager also said that the fake news posted from Saeeda's verified account will be investigated.

The Instagram post had said that Saeeda Imtiaz was found dead in her room on Tuesday morning. The location of her death or the cause of her demise was not mentioned.


Saeeda’s team had shared the news of the actress's death on her verified Instagram account.



In an Instagram story shared a few hours ago, it was stated that Saeeda Imtiaz, 32, was found dead in her room this morning.


According to her website, the actor was born in the United Arab Emirates and raised in New York. Her debut performance was in the Imran Khan movie ‘The Making of a Legend’, in which she portrayed the cricketer's ex-wife, Jemima Goldsmith.


In 2019, it was revealed that she would star in a movie called ‘Qulfi’ with Shahroze Sabzwari. She also took part in Adnan Siddiqui's reality competition ‘Tamasha Ghar,’ which is similar to ‘Bigg Boss’.
