Pakistan's rich cultural heritage was displayed in Germany recently with audio, visual and performative treats across multiple events that mesmerised audiences, including foreign diplomats.
Spearheading the cultural experience were performances by renowned classical Kathak dancer and instructor Adnan Jahangir.
Jahangir first performed at an event hosted by German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its Hindi and Urdu departments. The event was attended by DW's Director General, Pakistan's Ambassador to Germany, and heads of DW's various departments.
Jahangir's performance received thunderous applause, apart from a special request for an encore.

Jahangir delivered a captivating performance at the "Colours of Pakistan" event at Ambassador Place in Berlin, Germany. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and featured Jahangir alongside esteemed Sitar player Ustaad Ashraf Sharif Khan, apart from a Truck Art showcase set up by the art group Phool Patti.
The event was attended by envoys from Indonesia, Bangladesh, and other countries who praised Jahangir's spellbinding performance.
