Hassaan Niazi All Praise For Najam Sethi, Ahmad Noorani, Ahmad Waqass Goraya
If you didn't force or pressure me to listen what you have to say, I would have complied, but you did the otherwise, says Hassaan Niazi, who is facing a plethora of cases against him.

Niazi – nephew of PTI chairman Imran Khan – said he could have been spoken to about his actions and what harm they had caused to any institution, in a non-coercive manner.

"I would have agreed without an objection; but if you think you can intimidate me in order to silence me, that's not possible. If you suppress us, we will react."

The PTI leader and former premier's adviser made the remarks while talking to journalist Faeza Dawood, during a podcast on Wednesday.

According to him, he would have calmly come to terms with the interrogators, adding, 'but now, you've sowed a seed of hatred in me', as he referred to the state's action against him.

Referring to the Twitter posts of Najam Sethi, Matiullah Jan, Ahmad Noorani, and Ahmad Waqass Goraya, he said he can now understand where they were coming from.

He also spoke about the gun attack on journalist Hamid Mir, said he is able to comprehend what he went through.

Late last month, a sessions court in Quetta granted bail to Niazi, in a case pertaining to misbehaviour with police.

In his testimony before the court, the accused said, “My fault is that I am Imran Khan’s legal adviser and I work with him, that is why I am being targeted.”

Misbehaviour

The FIR registered against him contained offences of obstructing a public servant in discharge of public functions, attempted murder, assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of their duties, mischief causing damage, and criminal intimidation.

According to police, when the personnel tried to stop Niazi’s car, the driver tried to run over them. When stopped, the accused came out of the vehicle and verbally abused the personnel present. The FIR added that the accused then threatened to shoot the police personnel.
