Ittefaq Nama
I came to know, meray aziz humwatno, that Friar TuQ had issued guidelines for ladies participating in Janjuary 17 dharna:

  1. Aged ladies, especially those in purdah, are most welcome because Khan Saab is coming.

  2. Bejeweled ladies, especially those wearing real gold and real gems, are not welcome because Zardari Saab is coming.

  3. Generous ladies, especially those who give lots of charity, are most welcome because Qadri Saab is coming.

Look at nonsense, while world is going where all. They are all spoilsports and they don’t want democracy to take root. Only those countries prosper where there is democracy. Democracy means you can questions highest powers, like I am questioning generals and judges. Look at Britishers. They can ask Queen questions even. One day she visited an Old People’s Home. Elderly subject asked her that what Prince Charles does for a living. Her Majesty muttered something. Subject said, “recession or not, there’s no excuse for a lad his age not having a real job”.

That is real democracy, meray aziz humwatno, not this sham that is going on here. Every day a dharna, just because Imran isn’t PM.

Talking of Queen, I’m really missing the British Royal Family, and missing London also. As you know, Kate Middleton is pregnant again. I wonder what the baby will be. Whatever it is, at this rate, Prince William will have more heirs than hairs. But Britishers are quite kanjoos. Did you know they only spend £ 20 million ponds a year on their royalty? They should come to Pakistan where we spend much more on ours – generals, judges, parliamentarians, ministers, chief ministers – everyone except me. Sigh, sniff, sob!

And when Queen says: “We find ourselves overspent by £ 6 million ponds. We demand a multi-million pond raise”, Parliament can reply, “We are not amused!”

Here? Question does not arise. Defense budget goes up and up, and if anyone dares to question, they are Mujib ur Rahman = ghaddar. Look at! Dekhein!
